VISUAL ART SHOW

The St. James Assiniboia School Division is proud to host a division-wide Visual Arts exhibition of student work from the elementary, middle and high school levels.  The exhibit will take place at the Winnipeg Sun Centre, CanadInn Stadium on May 6th, 7th and 8th and will be open to the public from 4:30- 8:30 pm. STUDENT PROGRESS UPDATE WEEK - May 5 - 9

A missing task list from Term 2 will be sent home from subject teachers during the week.  Please check your child's agenda and contact teachers at 837-1361 or their email addresses if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's progress as we approach the end of the school year.

LOUIS RIEL DAY ON THE DIVISIONAL CALENDAR

Louis Riel Day on the St. James Assiniboia School Division calendar WILL count as a day on the school day cycle.  Feb. 18th will be Day 1 and when students return to school on Feb. 19th, it will be Day 2.  This is DIFFERENT from other divisions in the city and the change will effect the rest of the school year.  Parents and students should not worry about the difference and are encouraged to check out OUR division calendar and not to rely on the media's day cycle calendar.

Extreme Weather Conditions

The phoning list will NOT be used in extreme weather conditions.  In extreme weather conditions when blizzard conditions exist and or wind chills exceed -45, please listen to CJOB or go to the CJOB website at www.cjob.com or the division website at www.sjsd.net to find out if bussing has been cancelled.
